So it’s a shock for Derek when after 6 days of unsuccessful search what (and where) that thing might be, Stiles calls him to his office and hands him a file about Djinns. As Derek reads he realizes that it is the thing they are apparently-not-so-secretly hunting for. “Thought I wouldn’t notice, didn’t you?” Stiles mutters just as Derek says “How come I didn’t figure it out?” “Because you’re an idiot.”And Derek can’t help but smile and lean for a kiss because he doesn’t mind being an idiot as long as he’s Stiles’ idiot.
